PSG to set to make a move for Coutinho

PSG have decided to launch a bid for Coutinho, who is stuck in a Barcelona squad, unable to progress. The Catalan side may well let him go, but only for a hefty price.
With Neymar's return to Barcelona on the horizon, PSG have a different idea for the summer market: to sign Coutinho.

The former Liverpool striker had an underwhelming season, far removed from what was expected of him, which led to a deep disappointment among the fans.

Barcelona coudl well open its doors to Coutinho, provided an offer arrived to alleviate the expense that made him the most expensive signing in Barça history. A year and a half later, Coutinho could be worth more out than in.

Valverde gave him plenty of opportunities, up to 54 last season. He did not become the key player who marvelled at Anfield, his football did nothing to aid a Barcelona squad that suffered tough Champions League and Copa del Rey defeats. PSG, in view of the situation, are willing to put everything forward for him.

The operation could have Neymar's approval, although it would not be exempt from difficulty. The relationship between the two clubs is not good after PSG paid Neymar's clause. Although, if Barça want to sign Griezmann, they'll need the cash.

PSG will try to negotiate with Barcelona in the coming weeks and, to reduce costs, would be willing to give up Cavani, who Atletico are keen on. If he finally gets his signing, Tuchel could form a strike partnership with Neymar, Di Maria and Mbappé with Coutinho in behind.
